easy payload delivery...in thoery you could make a giant sphere coat it with magnets make it hollow throw your crap inside and it would be effortless trasportation from point a to point b just have to make the rail and have big magnets.....

Assuming the typical positive energy cost; how might this be used to reduce the cost of transport? Energy is localized at the end points and the cost path construction can be offset by the number of trips made. Accurate measurements of energy use will determine the scale of useful development. |
