4-4:30- Good work on top mount by Laura. I was surprised because she'd worked bottom most the match. 4:30-40- Nice pick up in tempo but sucked her into the ground mount for break time and light work.. Good thing this was an inexperienced fighter. Sub tap out at 5 mins.. I'd give is a 3 out of 5.

Normally I'd be all for it if there was stalling. 1:55- I liked the quick transition into the rear naked choke but the only annoyance with a ring is the positioning around the ropes. Not to mention the concrete block gloves there.. 2:32- Would've liked to see more Thai clinch but seems like Tevi is a sucker for defensive mount. Looked like Laura did a lot of stalling with that bottom mount but she did make good submission attempts.

1-1:05- I'm surprised at how quick they went to the ground in this fight. Laura should've banged a little more up top and set Tevi up more for that. Getting into the air mount for the guillotine was too easy and sloppy. 1:06-1:30- Seemed to me that Laura had a good ground tie and didn't allow separation however it took her took long to get position for the triangle because of readjustment. Better safe than sorry? 1:35- Ref breaks hold which is dumb because they were working...

It's either that or their rules are different. Most MMA leagues (Showdown, KOC, UFC, WEC, Smackgirl, EliteXC, Pride) all follow the same principals but the rules vary from league to league.
