I think the song is a good expression for a Western [wo]man's frustration with our system.You know... Everybody knows. Blaah-blaah.Leonard Cohen is brilliant, he expresses arbitrary and common feelings expressively with a sensitivity for the wholeness. Yet he avoids the common trap, which is insensitivity and hopelesness. He seems to keep the structure together, and that's admirable.In a situation between hopelesness and trust, Cohen seems to be able to choose the latter. Stick with him!

I saw him play in London last night - the man, now in his 70s, still has it.He's so beautifully humble and so incredibly gifted. A true smooth showman.
