Who cares about who invented what. Learn new techniques, add them to your game and keep improving. It's a personal journey. The journey is more important than the destination. Tue in life and martial arts.

Bravo himself said that it is a wrestling move.He is a true innovator and the sport needs more of that.

No one can really claim that they invented a move, they can only discover it themselves.

Gokor and Scott Sonnon are awsome, keep fighting bro. Thanks

I don't know anything about Bravo but if the twister is what I think it is... I didn't realize that every time I got a neck crank from a poor position with a leg triangle, that I was inventing a technique. Real samboist and wrestlers can play a technique from many different positions at least that's how I learned from Gokor, Gene Labell and Sonnon. So, to get the neck crank from that inferior position, you would need to isolate the movement and joint, hence the Leg triangle/saddle position.

And how about "the twister". This guy called Eddie Bravo claimed that he invented, and I´m prety sure is a wrestling move. Could you chek it for me, just type edie bravo twister adn tell me ok? Thanks bro, let´s show the world BJJ is no more than stealing techniques instead of creating moves of it´s own |
