The RAF used almost every version of the Mustang from the A to the K, so there is nothing wrong with having a D in British colours. Although RAF D version Mustangs usually wore 'standard' camo, some of them were left all silver like American aircraft except of course for the RAF roundals!

Spitfire...number one fighter of WW2In at the forefront from 1939 through to 1945 and was NEVER obsolete and always managed to keep pace with the rest.No other fighter managed that.
