If Bestie was playing today, match of the day would last 2 hours, talking about his skill alone. Pure Genius!!!!

truly the legend.I love how he manages to stand on his feet, quite a good contrast with today's players

George played in an era when the pitches were bumpy and muddy, getting scythed down from behind was not necessarily deemed a foul and when teams were more evenly matched. Imagine him playing in the current Man U team - he'd be unstoppable.

Watched them all play, from Eusabio, to garrincha, to Maradonna, Brazils god Pele and zico, to van basten, and cryuff, to Schoari Bobby charlton, Bobby moore. No one was More gifted and natural on the ball Than George Best. Do not let the silver ware Cloud you, Just look at the video and look what he stood up against. Its his ballance and centre of gravity that took him past players. Skill and technique, get you so far, But it was something that was his that made him the best.

It dosn't matter who the best was! All that matters is who was more entertaining to watch.

You probably rate Breckham. |
