There's a massive difference between "abuse" and "discipline." If you love your children, you will discipline them. This "parent" obviously doesn't give two shits about his child to let him behave this way. This is a setup for total failure in life.

I guess the whole "rhetorical question" concept isn't quite as clear as it needs to be. ;) And I love that someone voted "thumbs down" on my comment about PROPERLY raising a child. No child, anywhere, at any time, should EVER be allowed to behave like this. If you disagree, YOU ARE WRONG. And let's not get stupid with claims of "abuse." It's FAR more abusive to a child to let them behave like this than it is to correct them properly. "slap this kid silly" is a EUPHEMISM, kids.

OR you raise it correct to begin with. A person who has had abusive parents (like me) know that beating doesn't give respect, it generates fear. I hate my father and I'm over 20. He regret it now but I don't give a fuck. |
