Don't be disgusted by racists. They r what I call "the least". Don't let them derail u from ur goal...which is the be the best UNIX programmer or the best C++ programmer or whatever u're trying to do. Don't let them occupy ur brainspace, focus on things that r important/measurable (ur marks, family, friends, being #1 in the class). u're at a disadvantage being black/under represented...that means u have 2 be 2x as good. So, BE 2x as good & leave them 2 their racism.

would definitely play that game. lol woud have to find the chmod tool. He really could have easily incorporate the root user or switch user to super user. I'm sure if he had more time he could have taught pretty much all of unix. The ones I really would have love seeing him explain is grep, less, cat, tar, chown, sudo, pwd, and my favorite of all vi editor.

What do you mean Mac OS X is a unix clone? Its based on FreeBSD, which is based on the original BSD, which is based on Unix v.5 and 6, which is based on the original Unix.
