It seems like Butterbean is a pretty classy guy. He never down-talked Thompson, even though Thompson did towards him. And even after the match he had nothing bad to say about him. Controversial or not, he's still the winner, and has earned my respect. Did a rematch ever take place?

Yes, he can throw very massive punches but at very bad price. First, he gets tired very quick, he wont be able to do highkicks or do low kicks, cant move around fast and worse of all if he falls on ground he CANNOT get up

Its the refs job to protect both fighters and he stepped in because he saw Thompson go down and Butterbean start reigning punches. Had Butterbean hit him cleanly and knocked him out then those punches on the ground would have been devastating for the health of Thompson.Id much rather see a fight stopped early than some guy be made a vegetable because it was stopped too late. Props to Butterbean for offering the rematch!

Am I the only one who thinks this fight was stopped early? I mean maybe after a few more punches to the head it might have been over anyway, but the punches that made the ref stop it didn't look like they were doing anything to him.I know James sucks, but I think he got robbed here.
