The universe is how many billion years old and you think any other life could only be "as intelligent, no more, than us"?? C'mon that's incredibly naive.Other life forms may not want to mess with us, along the lines of Star Trek's "Prime Directive". What do you think would happen if aliens landed on earth. Most people would panic. We're not ready for something like that.

Our government is messing with StarGates! Like in the movie "The Mist" they also have already made tiny black holes, remember they set off the first Atomic Bomb even though many scientists thought it would ignite the Earth's atmosphere and kill all life on Earth! They did it anyway with human lab rats sitting in the desert with sunglasses on to see what would happen to them! btw, 125,000 Gorilla's found that noone knew about in 2008, video on my favorites section!

your right if humanity does find the technology to travel space and be a multi planet speices we wouldnt be hiding from the other beings. I think life exists in the universe besides us and they might be more advanced. weather or not they are life forms like us or just microbes.
