They're quite different. As I said; Jiu Jitsu is a re-named version of the gracie's art of Judo (They learned Judo from Count Maeda, never Ju Jutsu) why they called it Ju Jutsu,a nd spelled it Jiu Jitsu, I don't know. So Brazillian Jiu Jitsu is more or less an offspring of judo. Ju Jutsu, was made ages ago before Gracie/Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, and is much different than Judo. Do they have the same moves? Possibly, but it seems more fighters prefer bjj over traditional Ju jutsu.

if i know well jiujitsu and jujutsu are the same but usually bjj uses this way: jiujitsu maybe they want to saparate from japanese writng or sg but basicaly jiujitsu and jujutsu are the same (at least "diploma" they wrote combat jiujitsu)

Brazillian Jiu jitsu is based off of Judo, with the new Brazillian spelling of Jiu-Jitsu than Ju-Jutsu. Since Brazillian Jiu jitsu was based off of Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Ju Jutsu are clearly two different entities. Why they called it Jiu jitsu instead of Judo? Perhaps for marketing/copyright purposes, when they turned their art into a sales machine.

No they are different.I've participated in this martial art, and many others, and studied them through research too.Judo and Ju Jutsu are two different things. Back in the 1940's or 50's Japan wanted to even figure out which martial art they should apply for their police force hand to hand system. Judo, or Ju Jutsu. They got hte top judo and ju jutsu fighters together to fight. It was apparent that Judoka was deemed better and was since used as hand to hand for Japanese Police.

No they're completely different. Ju Jutsu is the original japanese art. Jiu Jitsu was based off Judo, why it was called jiu jitsu and spelled that way, who knows.
