its because the coils are exposed unlike the pick ups your used to seeing were the chrome or gold or plastic or w/e cover is on it

I actually think its either C or Cminor pentatonic scale. Thats what it sounds like.Nice guitar and wonderful pickups. Sounds like straight up Jimmy Page.
