they never called ufc vale tudo,they said it was no holds barred until they got rules, which does mean vale tudo in portugese, but they never called it vale tudo, and they DEFINETLY never called pride vale tudo

no no.the Pride, and the UFC was called vale tudo for some years, this sport was called vale tudo. Only in the earlier ufc there werent no gloves, but this has nothing to do with the name vale tudo.they just changed the name to MMA few years ago, of course they added some rules on UFC with the evolution of the sport.
