http://www.silat-suffian.blogs... us at the link above to know more about Brunein Martial Arts;------------------------- -------------SILAT SUFFIAN BELA DIRIEUROPEAN INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR 2007There were more than 30 martial artists of different nationalities and styles that came for the Silat Suffian Bela Diri International Seminar in Italy on the 23rd September 2007.The event was hosted and organized by Carlo Andries from Desenzano del Garda, Italy.A majority of the participants were from different parts of Italy, among those that came were also from Slovenia, The Czech Republic, Brazil, Argentina, etc.Instructors and practitioners from varied martial arts styles attended, from Indonesian Silat, Filipino Kali, Escrima, Jeet Kune Do, Capoeira, Lao Long Dao (vietnamese), Wing Chun Kung Fu, Tao Long Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate, Military Combatives, etc, left their ego at the door and came to experience, gave support, exchange ideas and bonded friendships.With the Bruneian flag in the background, the event started out with demonstrating the 1st 2 jurus, with the help of Michele Gammauta as the translator explaining its principles, then applying them by flowing from one sequence of movements to another.The movements started out with empty hands then translating the same movements by applying them with the sarong, t-shirt and belt. From entering, interception, zoning, continuous striking lines, body positioning and zoning to take-downs, chokes, joint breaking principles and applications. But the most important is the understanding of intention and warrior mind-set.The event started around 9 a.m and finished at 2 p.m. The event finished by leaving the participants wanting to know more about the Silat System from Negara Brunei Darussalam.------------------- -------------------I would like to extend my sincere gratitudes to:1st of all, Carlo Andries (my brother) and his parents, Rima, Rabby, Christopher and Julie for thier hospitality and treating me as part of the family.GianLuca, Marco Banfi and his family for treating me and my fiancee as thier own on our short stay in Milan. I mite of been harsh. I apologize to Silat Suffian, all its instructers and all its students. I would not of liked it to be done to me, or my stly. I do hold a 3Dan in Judo and a Mukuruku in Ju-Jitsu. My respects and deep apologize to all.

Jason Bourne is a fictional character, and was never specified as training in any particular style by author Robert Ludlum.In the films though, most of his training was various Kali/Silat hybrids
