In my first lesson in krav my instructers told us that your wallet isnt worth your life. Simply put if someone put a knife to them they wouldnt attack unless they genuinly felt like it was the only option. Krav teaches you to avoid conflicts aswell as defend yourself.As a side note alot of the combatives teach you to work to the oppents back, kick to the leg and then f**k off in the oppisite direction as fast as you can.

Also check if any of the intstructers have been on the IKMA Or IKMF training courses.

I love Krav-Maga, I did various martial arts before KM and now I've been doing it for a bit over a year and it's the best system I've seen yet for real-world situations. I've trained with Eyal 4 or 5 times when he's come to Mexico and some seminars. He rules ahaha

MMA and krav maga are my two best. (MMA for fights and krav maga for dangerous situations).

Yep, it's only martial in the way it is militarian, no art involved, it involves the fastest most brutal efficient way of dealing with an opponent.

krav maga is great! i've been doing it for 2 months and its the best practical and realistic fighting technique available.
