Wynton is definitely a legend, he puts so much emotion into his technique that not only is his playing flawless, its got the depth of the great mind behind the instrument. He is my favorite trumpet player, after miles davis. Sorry wynton haha

yes, let's reduce the hundreds of years of history of the blues to one scale without explaining its origins at all. great idea. don't worry about how the minor pentatonic scale was used for centuries in traditional african music and the addition of the tritone came from guitar players bending the fourth note. as long as you play those six notes in some order, you're playing the blues. don't worry about putting any feeling into the music.
