You're getting pretty indignant to what was intended to be a little bit of friendly banter. I just wanted to talk to music fans.

The point is you have watched it in order for you to comment and then slate it. If you arent keen on Foals then you have no reason to watch it or comment it. Its quite obvious that your the only one who doesnt like Foals so like i say shut it and go watch something else.... maybe pokemon or something.

this was the first foals performance i saw and it blew my mind. also, despite it being their first, I think this is probably the best filmed version of Red Sox Pugie on the internetxbigxbigxlovex

If you dont like it, dont watch it and further more, dont comment on it! Simple as

im sorry, im a music fag with the rest of them, but i HATE it when people both name drop Don Cab and Steve Albini when a band get mistagged with that awfully-named genre "math-rock". it attracts a whole swarm of elitist pricks like you and me who compare them to bands who play in eleventy thirteen. foals play in a pretty strict 4/4 and just because a few of them DID play in a math rock band does not necessarily mean theyre gonna make mars music the day they die.
joewhittles (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
i wouldnt even say theyre different, to be honest. q and not u, the rapture and hot hot heat did this stuff quite a bit before foals. but like you and i both agree on, it is essentially dance music (music FOR dancing, you get the idea) and to ask for variance from them is probably to stray away from the point. |
