Most actors/musicians are athiestsI personally think its because athiests and agnostics don't understand the difference between HOW and WHY, especially when applied to our creation, or the universe and anything to do with science...I have seen it in almost EVERY encounter I've had with them...They HONESTLY believe the HOW is the WHY...I just laugh at the notion of rejecting/denying a "possibility" to an answer we don't know is considered "free thinking" or the person a "Intellectual"

I think you are all missing the point of the song. why would he say Jesus Christ Deny your maker? AND ask to be saved, and to sew his eyes shut? i think its about asking for help, and feeling like everyone is stepping all over you. and resisting conforming to the norm of Society.
