Why is catch wrestling not as popular as bjj??? I personally perfer bjj over any other martial art but I'm just curious.

Either way, I was talking about politicians and the like trying to ban UFC and other violent sports. I was just wondering were the same kind of people around back then.

Punk, that is exactly the problem ppl think this is real life fighting and it is not.The gracies always screw the rules to make sure they have the advantage. They cheat and lie, basicaly having no honor or respect for anything but BJJ.Alot of us who study real Martial Arts are sick and tired of these frauds running thier mouths.Watch K1, they have the loosest rules of all and when the gracies fight K1 they consistently lose.

I just want to know, regarding all the negativity people have toward real-life fighting like this. Did the Roman empire and other similar empires that staged real-life fighting and even more brutality than UFC could dream of have these sheep running around talking about how terrible it was and trying to control them?

constantly lose to judokas? yeah i dont think so the percentage of judokas beating bjj guys are very slim. i know white belt bjj guys own black belt judo guys, its pretty sad actually, more and more judokas are training in bjj..why? because they know its a lot more dominant..and dont pull off well yoshida beat royce..yoshida, could never beat rickson gracie, could never beat marcello garcia, why dont judokas challenge these bjj guys? cuz they know they will get destroyed idiot
