lions rule, hyenas have nothing unless they greatly outnumber the lioness' but will only confront a male lion if it's injured or dying & even then they're very wary on taking them on..that's not tough, just cowardly bullies

That's not true. Hyenas are clever hunters but they scavange food often killed by lions, which is illustrated above. Even though their intentions are to get a meal, they are being actively aggressive towards the lions who are trying to defend their kill no? Hyenas don't live 'normal lives', they kill all the competition weaker than them such as cheetas and jackals etc. no species want competition but hyenas don't kill many lions because they're much more powerful unless heavily outnumbered
