ThatWhiteKid95 is right Wushu is the same thing as what we call *kung fu* wushu is the world for martial arts "wu" meaning military or fighting and "shu" meaning art. that is the traditional chinese term for kung fu, kung fu is actually an american term of wushu. now quoting urself "first get your facts right, then try to understand what you're talking about" jan1035 i've done research in school for this stuff i know what i'm talking about. dont be an asshole about it dude

no need to go there, when your able to read you'll also know what they do in Tibet with the buddist monks and monastries and what they do with the Islamic minorities

You know for a Martial Artist stand point, I understand you were only trying to correct the terminology of Wushu, but you didn't have to be so mean about it...geez... chill out...lol. I am not even Kung Fu by the way. But I do agree about how a lot have tradition has been taken out, and the intense training has been taken out because of politically correct social views. Nor am I telling you I know ANYTHING about Kung Fu, because I don't. I'm actually Karate-do but I think Wushu is hell of cool.
