$7 is enough for any cop in Laos, but after you settle on the amount I recommend giving him 10 as a courtesy so he can be proud when he goes home to his wife.

I think he is being sarcastic. Anyone who has been to Mexico knows that bribery is very common and is socially accepted there.

haha...in malaysia we call cops bribey as (DUIT KOPI) means COFFEE...the cops in malaysia usually ask for some cash if they offerd us for their help like not giving us a tickets..haha..cops they cant earn much!..so they bribe!

is a shame,,,if ine got stop by one of this thief, dont panic,,, if you are right ,just tell them to give you a ticket ,if the ask for money ,say no and they will ask you to follow to the station, they say that as a last chance,, take his number, and fisical caracteristic ,and make a report via internet direct to the federal government, and they gonna take care of the dirty rat,,all in mexico hate them...

i bribed a cop in mexico i was drunk and driving down a 1 way street in my u.s. california plate car. total cost to let me off the hook was $30 u.s. dollars and a wrist watch.

No bribery/corruption in Latin America? You're wrong! There's plenty of corruption in Latin America!! This video was real, not an actor. You should come to Baja California, or anywhere in Mexico. They get most of their money from bribes and not from their salary.

This is so fake! I live in Guatemala and I can tell you that no bribery or corruption exists in Latin America. When you pay that guy in the video you are obviously just paying the actor you hired for the shoot.and btw your Español has improved muchísimo
