Gergen is one of no more than a dozen televsion political commentators whose insight is highly intelligent and remarkably unbiased. Others on the short list include Mark Shields, David Brooks, Jeffrey Toobin, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. I never tire of Gergen's assessments of political events such as debates and conventions. No one at Fox News can hold a candle to Gergen.

Yes - Gergen is one "conservative" that I admire enormously. NEVER takes the side of the right when it is wrong. Thoughtful, clear thinking, and totally himself.
