figure skating takes time to learn...i think that all these skaters are pushing the jumps and throws beyond their limits..which is why they loose their balance....anyone can do it, you just shouldn't go to far that you can't keep your balance

Oh it is indeed a dangerous sport. Not as easy as it looks! Really hard!

yea it's not even that painfull when you fall only if you land dodgy on a bone or something but if you know what your doing yea you have a few bumps and that but you dont fall as much, being dropped hurts alot more though

Say that to Katie Wood. She and her partner Todd Wagoner were up and coming in the US ranks and then in 1991 crashed out of one of those high lifts and ended up with a severe skull fracture and a shattered eardrum, which led to her going permanently deaf in one ear.

My heart is so rumbling to see this video!I love to watch skating, but I am sure they got through those a lot of times to be perfect on real competition! I feel so sorry for them...

I totally agree. I also skate. it does hurt when you are dropped though. I have found that the most painful falls are stupid mistakes like when you are standing on the ice then your not.lol. if you don't slide when you fall to disperse the impact it hurts like hell. I'm sure many of you probably agree with me |
