Man why you guys gotta be hating? Taekwondo is awesome. I'm in Muay Thai, Karate, Wushu, Ju Jitsu and Taekwondo. All of them is awesome, it's disrespectable to say which is the best seeing as to how each one is very useful in different situations. It takes a lot of focus and determination for each, especially if you want to get a black belt.

your comment holds some merit, tae kwon do is a formidable art, but only when combined with a more punching based art such as boxing. I personally do both. power kicks have their place in combat, but some scenarios need different tools to complete the job.
