*Sigh* Okay, I was referring to MODERN wushu (You know, like the wushu displayed in this video? The wushu that is the subject matter of all these comments?) You don't go to modern wushu classes, and start hitting a bag, do you? But you're right. Sanda and wing chun are for fighting, and they fall under "Wushu". But seriously dude, scrolling through two month old comments, misreading them and then having the nerve to say I fail, is a triple fail on your part.

You could not be more incorrect if you tried.Tae Kwon Do: Invented in 1955 by General Choi. Choi derived many of techniques from the slightly older art of Tang Soo Do.Wushu: Can trace it's lineage back 2000 years...and that's just from written documents."Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!"

1.) Some Americanized schools use a belt system.2.) Wushu absolutely IS for fighting. Check San Da or San Shou for proof. Both are forms of fighting in the Wushu system. Most forms of martial arts have a type of Taolu, Kata, or Form.3.) Even though DragonHunterz misspelled the word, you can imply that he/she is in a Japanese art if he/she refers to the instructor as "sinse" (sensei)4.) You fail. |
