First time I watched it, I was like whoa holy shit this is going to be amazing, then I realized it was all in slow mo and the lack of dialog worried me since the comic is dialog driven.Then I found out Kevin Smith said it was astounding, then I realized for all its faults, no trailer beats this.

I wasn't really commenting on what the intelligent move for Watchmen to make is, I was more commenting on how stupid it is to imply that Watchmen is ripping off TDK because of Rorschach's voice.The intelligent thing would be not to consider TDK, and make the voice fitting to the character (which IMO it is).

The trailier absolutly nails the spirit of the comic. One can only hope the movie follows through.The heros, ahem... I mean anti-heros who narrate the the trailier are the Comedian for "God help us all" and Rorschach for "The world will look up...." |
