You should know there are also heredity factors. So it is a risk. There is a CHANCE you will get cancer. If someone wants to take the risk, then it is on them. If you don't want someone smoking around you, then tell them to step back away from you. That is what I do anyway.

Geez, I wish we could edit these........my comment was supposed to read, "My mother-IN-LAW...." not my mom. My mother died of a heart attack four months after my dad. She was a smoker.

My dad was a smoker and he died of lung cancer. My mother never smoked a cigarette a day in her life, she's now dying of lung cancer. Huh?? I have another relative in his sixties that's been chain smoking most his life. No health problems.
