I'm thinking Nina Simone wasn't a very happy person in general for whatever reasons it seems apparent to me in her music and videos but that is the great paradox that is what makes great music Gospel Blues R&B Jazz would not exsist without the pain & suffering that was created by the social conditions music is just an extension of oneself of ones innermost feelings
