I got sucked into the whole style vs style arguement a while back and its ridiculous. While everyone here is argueing about which martial art is best, the top guys are dominating by being good in all arts. People like GSP and Anderson Silva are cleaning house because they are brown and black belts in BJJ, are great wrestlers(mostly GSP) and have great standup. Even people like Chuck Liddell cross train in BJJ. Your not going to be a top guy in MMA with ANY single martial art.

Where the hell is Karate Chop, I see over and over the karate ran straight to JJ guys. Why dont just back off hop around give him a smile then BAMMMMM!! Karate CHOP. Where is it?! What happen to those year of chopping rock to harden you hand. my bad I forget is probably a set up..Come on Chuck Norris KARATE CHOP..Well every one calm down. Ancient Kung Fu gave birth to Karate, T.K.D, Judo then BJJ become ground game of Judo you see is all 360. it is family but damn I still want to see Karate Chop

Hyped, BJJ is more TMA than Kenpo. Kenpo is a true hybrid and you obviously don't know anything about it. In a real fight the guard the second worst position to be in. Kenpo guys also learn chokes, in fact I have yet to see as many in BJJ. BJJ has been beaten by Kenpo before and it's always the same BS, they cheated. The Gracies used to say no rules unlit they were beaten by a few Kenpo men. They refused to pay the $100,000 because they said it was cheating.

Thats right, once a choke is properly on thats it. The Gracie style is pretty formidable. However its probably best to know a variety of styles, as each has its own strength. Though if I had to choose one style it would Gracie Jiu Jitsu.
