There is no question. Krave maga is un comparable to anything. If you want to learn how to be completely effective in the street and nothing else, then this is it.. no choice. The only challenge finding a REAL krav maga instructot. Tons of fakes out there. And yes, there is a belt system, but you will quickly see how non pertinent it is when compared to what you are actually learning.

In my opinion, Taekwondo is more of a 'sport' (for lack of a better term). The scenarios are unrealistic and it's highly unlikely you could pull off a tornado kick in a real life situation.Muy Thai is good, however not as versatile as Krav. Krav teaches real life situations that you can use everyday.

There is an even better martial art. It's called Nukedo. It was developed in the 30's-40's in New Mexico, USA. It teaches defence and attack against multiple opponents (up to a hundred or even more, a thousand maybe, i dunno), multiple opponents toting bazookas escape from more impossible than impossible situations. And in some styles of the art, high ranking masters teach you to use internal energy to heat up your coffee or power your house.

Bruce Lee himself said it was not a "style" and he didn't believe anyone could become a "master" only a better student |
