Only problem with BJJ on the street, judo has same problem, is when you start a grapple, you tie yourself up with that person, if your fighting in a group fight or more than one person, you can't really defend yourself from second person's attacks

Masahiko Kimura is a legend and I do not totally agree with your comments.I train in BJJ but have grappled with Judo guys and their base is solid. From my limited experience if you take the punches out of the equation it is the Judoka who are better at avoiding take downs. However I do agree that not all Jodoka can work well on the ground especially on their backs as the emphasis is not ground work in their routine training compared to BJJ.

I agree. Kimura was a legend have you read "my Judo" by kimura, he used to drink a bottle of Saki a day for a while and was choked out by a white belt he was showing how to perform a choke to. He also used to train with a boxer from the US for a while. The amazing thing is how humble he comes across in the book. "SAN BAI RO RIOKU"

Ironically, due to Jujutsu's cuurent state, ie; much degraded after years of idleness away from the battlefield, Judo is considered by many to be a much better method of self defense,

You have no idea what you're talking about. please hush.
