Hmm no wetsuits, no life jackets, and no kill switch round your wrist... Your lucky your alive...RIB owner of 20 years.

What is amazing is that the lifeboat service over there is not some big federally run operation like the Coast Guard. The coasties would have just let this thing run out of fuel.

I hear you, Our FRB fuel went bad, I was due to clean out the tank but I had to leave the ship. Simple checks avoid an awful mess!

I agree with you,the point that I was making was that if people take thier friends out for a burn up, the Coxwain in the interests of his passengers safety should really have been clipped on to his Killcord.....

you still see people driving cars wiht a mobile phone in their hands, or cigarette (wonder if both?), wiht children in the back who arent belted, or worst, a passenger in the front seat who has a baby in their arms.... human stupidity and risk proneness is unlimited...

If you go to the bother of rigging the Kill Cord so,s to start the engine in the first place surely it,s common sense to secure it to ones person in the event of this event happening,Luckily there doesn,t seem to be any injuries to anyone...... |
