you guys can bitch about her all you like but it was the Goo Goo Dolls song and they must've practiced with her for this and THEY obviously liked what they heard. If it's good enough for them it should be good enough for you guys.

I LOVE this song... and I like Avril Lavigne, too, I just don't think her voice goes with the song. She was OK, I just like the original better. She was too stiff, too. She just STOOD there, even when what's-his-face was dancing around.

Two voices so different cannot be expected to be perfectly harmonious and lovely like everyone would expect to have for this song. Go easy on her...

I definitely don't think it was as good as the original. I mean, you can never truly improve a song so beautiful. But for real, Avril was NOT as bad as everyone is making her out to be. She doesn't sound "tone deaf". She's on key, it's just that the Goo Goo Dolls frontman (sorry, don't know his name) has a slightly raspier voice and hers is clear and went she sings, she defines each note significantly and he just flows into the next note (which I LOVE! <3 lol.) But, don't be so mean to her...

I love this song.... I thought that maybe with her the song would have lost it's touch.... but I think their voices sound great together.
