Such a wonderful song. I can't relate to your sorrow, I still have the joy to see my dad almost everyday. But this song makes you think.. my best wishes to all of you who have lost your fathers. Not in a cheesy way, really. My best wishes to you and your beloved fathers.

All dates of our loved ones death is hard to cope with. My dad died of a heartattack in the evening of my weeding. Well I was young and in chock when it happend, but to day I think: What a way to go - he was so happy! But, oh dear how I miss him!

Know how you feel!! My Dad died on my sons birthday 14 years ago and I miss him everyday. But this time of year as it approaches makes it harder

i first seen this a few years before my father passed away even then it touched my heart and still now 11 years after he got taken from us this song still breaks my heart in a awsome way... thank you mr atkins!

I first saw this on the (HBO?) special - looks like 11 years ago and my dad was still alive. I have the song on cd and I get tears every time I hear it.How could he sing it without crying?? |
