The song and video is talking about cheating and in the end, you always get caught. Some people just don't see it. "The path I walk is in the wrong direction" = I'm cheating and I know I shouldnt be. "Theres always someone ******* hanging on" = Temptations are everywhere ignore them. "Would she hold me if she knew my shame" = I've cheated would she still want me if she knew?
