Yes, your point of view is interesting, if you are talking of euthanasia some animals are helped to die. But in martial arts I still prefere to watch man against man or breaking exploits like difficult tameshiwari.The cruelty is shown in this case when Oyama kills a healthy calf, that animal was young and not was prepared to die at that moment.

Answer me this ¿how come giving an animal a fair chance to live is animal cruelty and killing an animal by mercy(whose only goal in life is to live)isn't? I love animals too, but you have to understand something, the only purpose in life to an animal of any kind is to live, they don't understand why death happens, they just die.For example I just don't think that killing and old blind deft defensless dog that was ready to give it's life for you at any moment is atroccious not mercyful.
