and also there are records of him fighting in the 1964 long beach international karate championships. this is when he did the "one inch punch"he was also at the one in 1967. that is where he did the "unstoppable punch"

well first off, if google says that, it MUST be true lolLee was never a professional competitor. there are records of his fights though. "Lee had boxed in the 1958 Boxing Championships held between twelve Hong Kong schools, a tournament in which he beat the three-time champion from another school"Dan Inosanto said, "there's no doubt in my mind that if Bruce Lee had gone into pro boxing, he could easily have ranked in the top three in the lightweight division or junior-welterweight division."

bruce lee is legionary,as best fighter ever!

It never happened. What competition? What challenge? There are 0 records of him competing ANYWHERE.Even the supposed amateur boxing record he had in Hong Kong is un-validated. Also, google "the best fighter in the world" and you'll get whole front page of links about Fedor Emelianenko, who is the actual best fighter as of today.

hes still considerd the greatest fighter today by wikipedia and many other sources, and the ppl in mma all know that too
ac689 (October 6, 2008 at 9:11 pm)
what a moron u are...burce lee started out a street fighter and never lost a fight after mastering 3 styles he created JKD and evry competition he was in, every challenge he got (which was all the time from random martial artists) he knocked them out in under 20 secs, get some knowledge before u comment.

Perhaps he did all those things. But it's incredibly silly to say he is the best fighter in history. Inspirational, influential - sure. But when a bunch of 12 year olds pop up on every MMA video and declare that Bruce would "own" people who make their bread by fighting OTHER PROFESSIONAL FIGHTERS just makes me mad. How many real opponents did Bruce face? Where are those videos/records?Combat has evolved a lot since his death.

So what exactly are you trying to say, besides throwing lame insults my way?Are you one of those people who buy into mystical powers, qi, and all that stuff?I don't know "all there is to know" but i know enough. What do you know? Do you train yourself? Or just watch flashy Chinese kung fu flicks?

Bruce Lee must have hated the Japanese to have them wear their hakama backwards. |
