agreed, this terrain is hardly challenging, in one big instance, but I think the Camel Trophy is more about endurance then pure difficulty.and considering that each event got brand new Landrovers, I think any robust 4x4 with solid axles could have pulled these events off, nothing special that Landrovers were used.....

These guys are so good they just make it look easy! I think CT's biggest challenges are more based around mud and river crossing, which if you have ever been on an expedition is quite tough. The event is based on off-roading but its also a sightseeing and skill testing event. I dont know, maybe we saw differently but i thought 91 was a pretty tough year.

Pretty neat expedition, but really I didn't see any truly challenging terrain. Maybe I'm missing something about the Camel trophy, I was always under this impression that it was a big deal and this hardcore offroading event, didn't seem like anything special. I dunno, just my 2 cents.
