As you said, I get 0,73 g while sitting near to a smoking person. That is t this 0,73 g that matters. If I didn't sit near a smoker I'd receive 0,00 g of tar. And if you sit near to the smoker all your clothes and hair smells like a cigarettes. That IS disgusting.

Its not dangerus too be near a smoker if you don't smoke. a smokers lungs get 73 gram tar if you smoke 20 cigarettes evry day in a year and if a non smoker sits in the same room when evry cigarettes was smoked the non smoker only gets 0.73 gram of tar in one year!. and in a whole year you breath about 5.000.000 liter clean air so ITS NOT HARMFULL TOO BEE NEAR A SMOKER!

I doubt that every 18mg of tar is absorbed, since smokers do exhale. Also tar is water soluble which is why hookah and other water pipe filtration is a safer smoke. Plus hookah is only 30-0% tobacco.
